on my mastiff site, there are a pair of mastiffs like that, owned by the pearsons. they were even featured on animal planet once which was neat, since i already knew them from the site. the blind one is this more petite apricot girl named bella (spanish pronunciation), and her “seeing eye dog” is boaz, some biblical name. if i remember correctly, bella went young at a pretty young age, and then they went through a hella careful process to choose the puppy with the ideal temperament to raise as bella’s companion to help guide her as he grew up.
